Public transport

Payment for public transport can be done in two ways. For trains you can buy your ticket at the train station at one of the yellow ticket machines. For busses you can buy your single one-way ticket at the bus driver, though only in cash. The following option might be useful if you are planning to use public transport more often during your stay. For 7,50 Euro you can buy an OV-chip card. This card can then be loaded credit on which can be used for all trains, busses, trams and metros in The Netherlands.
